Actually, "THE" site for aliens is Wright Patterson AFB

You are correct, Dr, Guy. Formerly Wright Field in Dayton, Ohio. Supposedly alien ships and bodies found since the 1940s were kept in an underground complex, dubbed "hanger 18".

However, true UFOlogists now believe that the government moved the alien ships/bodies out to area 51.

I just watched this on The History Channel 2 days ago.....

dubbed "hanger 18".

OK...so what was in the other 17?

Empty stubbies and pizza boxes?...

That one's funny, but (at the risk of a little shameless self promotion), I like mine better. ;~D

I think it's hilarious that the same people that squawk about Bush being such a big idiot are generally the ones that claim he is the mastermind of [insert evil plot here].

I wonder who here has read 'Tragedy and Hope' by Carroll Quigley and Edward Bernays' 'Propaganda' (1928)?

Opening paragraphs of 'Propaganda':

The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country.

We are governed, out minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of. This is a logical result of the way in which our democratic society is organized. Vast numbers of human beings must cooperate in this manner if they are to live together as a smoothly functioning society.

From David Rockefeller's 'Memoirs' (page 405):

"For more than a century, ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents such as my encounter with Castro to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure — one world, if you will. If that is the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it."

Logic is not one of their strong points.

I think Bush is a big idiot...but then that would be an insult to idiots...and he certainly isn't capable of masterminding an evil plot...he's just the pawn...when the man speaks its glaringly obvious he's an idiot.

The thing that concerns me the most...even more than Bush...is the apathy in the people of this country that allows idiots like him to get away with the things he does without questioning. Whats the common excuse..."I'm only one person...what can I do?" Well...he's only one person....yet he enslaves a whole country into apathy so easily. I find it chilling that he can stand there telling such boldfaced lies and people just shrug they're shoulders and do nothing. This man should have stopped dead in his tracks when he made he intentions known that he planned to invade Iraq and "rid the world of terrorists"....knowing full well that is impossible. Yet here we are....billions of dollars in debt for nothing and who suffers for it...everyone but him.

And logic certainly isn't the strong point of those that think he is anything but an idiot.

That's why we all get to vote Web.

As long as you vote you got every right in the world to complain. If you qualify to, but don't exercise the privilege, then you become a part of the problem rather than the solution. In the case of the President it sometimes comes down to voting for the lesser of two evils. Majority rules.

I wish that were true Lantec...but somehow I don't think it is...its not enough to just get out of bed and push a few buttons and think you have done anything to change the world. To me voting is a false sense of control over those who truly have control. And its not just "sometimes" voting for the lesser of two evils...its all people seem willing to do...and its an easy way out of actually doing anything that truly makes a difference. Change comes about by getting your hands dirty...revolution comes to mind...without revolution many of the changes in this world might have never happened...but revolution seems to have changed to apathy...its safer than actually doing something significant to achieve real change.

And unfortunately the only thing the "majority" seem to rule is apathy.

Of course bush is an idiot...no argument here...but that other fellow...the one behind the curtain...cheney...IS...an evil neo-con!

I'm working on a plan to get Bush out of office ... it's a bit involved and will take some preparation, though .. I'm guessing it will come to fruition around ... oh, late 2008 .. maybe early 2009 ... yeah, probably early 2009

You all really think ANY OF THEM ARE ANY GOOD.... They all say wonderful things UNTIL THEY GET INTO POWER. Come on, get smart, Bush or any of the former president don't really run this country... That all comes from the Congress and the House.... And the way it looks right now , we are going to find out what it is like to have a Lady Pres.... ?? I can just imagine what wonderful things will be said about her...

You know I am not in love with Bush nor was I crazy about Bill, but once they are voted into office they become MY President of MY United States. Good or bad, I stand behind them and my government and my country.....

The lesser of two evils is like letting the lesser of two thieves into your house just because he left you something to sit on. That "logic" just doesn't wash with me...I find that more insane than anything. A thief...is a thief...is a thief...period.

We need to not just expect more...we need to demand more of the person representing this country. If not...no one has any right to complain...just go stand behind him and watch as HE does what HE wants. Even though HE is suppose to represent YOU.
