Anyone remember "The Keating Five" and how McCain was involved with the S&L failures? Remember the depth of McCain's corruption? Oh yeah and his wife was addicted to pain meds taken from someone else! Obama, at least doesn't remind everyone of that stuff.

I wouldn't call anything or anyone fair and balanced. But that doesn't change the fact that Palin is a smear artist (viz. the crap she's spouting today). And McCain is one HUGE hypocrite: see the above links.

I'm tired of the crap in this election and I'm done wif' it. Hankers, I think you're a great wizop, a super skinner and an all 'round nice guy but I've had it. This is more divisive than "the decider"....and I thought he, Karl Rove and Dick Cheney reached new lows. The current Palin shite is subterranean.

Please don't take my response as anything other than a laugh at the suggestion that 'any' media is fair and balanced.  As I am a Canadian myself I have no vote in your election and it is also none of my business to suggest who should and should not be elected as the President, Vice-President, Senator or Congessman in your country.

If you think the 'crap' is bad there you ought to see it here in Canada. Elections of this magnitude bring out the worst in any party and some supporters.

Also of note is the current McCain master of nastay campaign tricks, Steven Schmidt, who was a protege of Carl Rove who was a protege of Lee Atwater, who was the daddy and grandmaster of the nastiest of the nastiest smear + destroy campaigns - the Dems learned from what happened to Mike Dukakis in '88 and henceforth, any Democrat running for President kept a 'War Office' to promptly & accurately rebut + correct the assaults, smears. outright lies and distortions within 3 hours;what Palin was doing in California this weekend is straight out of the Atwater playbook & totally expected as each day with more and more evidence of how bad the current State of the Union is, and McCain going down more + more in the polls, his only avenue to proceed in the next month is to go totally and nastily negative to somehow get something to stick to the slow, stealthy, powerful forward movement of Obama/Biden.....

In a Yahoo 7 poll conducted here in Oz, 79% of nearly 8000 respondants prefer Barack Obama over John McCain as the next US President.... and the majority of callers to a Brisbane talk-back radio show think the only thing smart about Sarah Palin is her mouth... that McCain is an arrogant foul-mouthed pig with no respect for his wife/women (because of his temper, blurting out the trollop comment, calling her the C word).  It's something we Aussies view very dimly... but sadly, we can not vote for the better team.

In other news, Palin's 'moose meat to Britain' export hopes have taken a serious nose dive.  Apparently, the trade and foreign ministers of several Arab States, on the advice of Barack Obama, have approached Britain with a proposal to export live camel meat to make up for the shortfall in meat products caused by crazy cow syndrome.

It seems the Brits are extremely enthusiastic about the camel imports, not only because of the great boost to the meat industry, but also for the interim solution to traffic congestion, reducing greenhouse gas emmisions from cars and reducing Britain's high dependency of fossil fuels.  Given that camels have been such a reliable mode of transport for centuries, the Brits believe they are the better traffic solution to moose, which are not known for their intelligence and have been known to have a death wish when, for no apparent reason, stray into the path of hunters bullets.

Furthermore, given that Brits are reknowned for their superb 'English country gardens', the live export of camels is of specific interest to horticulturalists, who believe camel manure would be more benificial to rose gardens than moose dung, which may have properties likely to attract hunters and thus gunshot damage to prized English roses.... and while Ms Palin pleaded her case, promising to alleviate the dung issue by exporting only processed moose meat, the UK Health Minister declined the offer, saying that Palin's buckshot would increase the need for dental work and thus blow the health budget.

It seems, then, the McCain/Palin rescue package for the flagging US economy has hit rock bottom, being the Japanese also rejected her 'bridge to nowhere' exports, and the better/best bet for US finances would be the Obama/Biden ticket.  OK, so the camel meat exports to Britain do little for the US economy directly, but international/foreign relations are in better shape thanks to Barack Obama's suggestion to Arab States to open exports markets with the UK, a US ally.

I cancelled you out.  I really dont find a dimes worth of difference between McCain and Obama.  Sure the campaigns are apealing to different people, but I am not going to fool myself into thinking that McCain has changed a wit.  Hillary scared me.  SHe is and was just a meglomaniac.  I do think Obama has ideals (which for the most part I do not agree with), and thinks he can do good.  Hillary was just in it for Hillary.  So when she lost, I pretty much lost any passion for the election. I figure I was going to get screwed regardless of who won (once McCain locked up the nomination), so why worry?

hankers and wom have been working on a suite which includes the following: windowblinds skin, objectdock background and icons, iconpackager package, dx gadgets, cursors, and a wallpaper. it's pretty intense, i'm guessing, as they have been working on it for years. neither of them have been kind enough to even allow a preview or mockup of it to be shown, though. it's been widely told that their first design was scrapped when another skinner stole their idea and released his/her version of it first. i'm still baffled how the 'other skinner' knew what the design was since hank and wom are so secretive.

Turns out Microsoft got it and called it Aero...........
