keep your friends close but your enemies closer

So now, "human rights legend" John Lewis claims that Donald Trump is illegitimate. Thats odd, it seemed to me like Trump won an electoral landslide. Its also worth noting that the partisan Democrats who are in total control of our intelligence agencies reported that there was no evidence of vote tampering by Russia or anyone else. What a crybaby sore loser John Lewis... cry me a river. I still remember the last public tantrum Lewis pitched when he claimed that a teapartier spit on him and called him the N-word in front of hundreds of people. Brietbart immediately offered a huge reward for any evidence of the incident, but none was ever found. Not one of the hundreds of cameras, phones, or witnesses saw any racial attacks. Whatever John Lewis once did, he is now a racial demagogue and a Democrat party hack. Its also important to remember that when Donald Trump starts doing away with as much of Obama's pen and a phone style of governance that is better suited for a balcony rather than an executive office, that Obama's declarations of "I won and you lost," and "elections have consequences," leaves little sympathy for those like John Lewis who are now shocked, shocked that people are gambling in Casablanca.

Wall Street is allowed to push investments of dubious value on the unsuspecting public again.

"but it limits consumer choice" is just a smoke screen.

"We think it is a bad rule. It is a bad rule for consumers," Cohn told The Wall Street Journal on Thursday. "This is like putting only healthy food on the menu, because unhealthy food tastes good but you still shouldn't eat it because you might die younger."

So, you admit that you're the equivalent of a junk food pusher, huh... <img src=" />

Just replace "junk food" with drugs, and the true nature of that statement is made clear...

College students live in a protective bubble of safe spaces and their inability to listen to alternative views and function in the real world does not represent progressives as a whole.

All populations have subgroups of extremist...

"Someone with the 'inability to listen to alternative views and function in the real world'" is practically the definition of a progressive these days.

If you think those were just random children whose 'protective bubble of safe spaces' was punctured, I've got a bridge here...

So far, only progressive 'subgroups' have acted out in 'fascist' ways.

And, given their funding, I question how 'sub' they are.

Lots of deflection, unintended irony and personal attack from TYT, as expected, but as to the fundamental point about the 'masked agitators' we apparently agree - those weren't students.  Or 'protesters' for that matter.  They were paid rioters, thugs.

That they were coming was known beforehand.  Whether the student protesters (and there were some) wanted the violence to occur or not, there are groups pushing protests against speakers they don't like: a little enjoyable reading

And we're now to the point that the new angle from some quarters of the left is that these are right-wing false flag operations.  If true, Soros is the true Manchurian Philanthropist.  This is a bit more sober take on the events, from someone who is 'inside' Berkeley: link

Sorry this has gone so far OT, Anthony.

This is a lot closer to the original subject: link

Well, this video is terrific. It eloquently explains what I've been feeling for a while. I thought "progressive" was synonymous with Liberal. Apparently it's the new label for left wing extremist. Used to call them the PC police. They've morphed into something far worse.
