With the Trump inauguration coming up, I was reflecting on the whole thing. From his unlikely nomination in the primaries, to his stunning defeat of the allegedly unbeatable democratic heavyweight, Hillary Clinton, and finally, to all the sullen, crying faces of the liberals, this has been amazing fun. I've never seen anyone campaign harder, or longer than Trump, while Clinton did nothing but demean him and anyone who considered voting for him as "deplorable".
Team Clinton didn't even mount a credible campaign even though they had 1.2 billion dollars to spend. With 1.2 billion dollars, you should be able to elect Mr. Ed. No message worthy of a presidential candidate was ever presented to the public by Clinton, and no agenda was ever outlined. The sole message was to present Donald Trump as a fool and a dangerous madman who could never be trusted with nuclear codes. The Clinton team was too busy measuring the drapes in the White House to notice all the working class people of the country in full scale revolt. It was the same hubris and arrogance the team would have brought into the executive office and we are all better off that that will never happen. Team Clinton were very much like the Germans of WWI marching out of Brandenburg Gate shouting that they would be home soon, but the enemy they faced was a lot more formidable and serious than they gave them credit for.
As an American I am thrilled about the inauguration and glad Trump won, I also think the public tantrums of the extreme Obama left, and their bullying is something that everyone is watching and learning from. Obama even attacked the Cuban people by ending the policy that lets them stay in the US, but I guess thats not racist. Chelsea Manning has also been let off the hook by the same Obama who was so outraged by the leaks of Clinton's emails. Most of us paying attention to him are torn between laughter and tears.
