Gateway Pundit has revealed all the details. The name of the Sarah Palin E-mail hacker/lamer is David Kernell, and he is (not surprisingly), the son of a Tennessee Dem State Rep.

Messiah's right. McCain has used the POW story as sort of a shield whenever anyone critisizes him.
McCain rarely spoke about his POW years until very recently.

Actions speak louder than words.

In these links you will find the voting records of both candidates. Take the time to do the research on your own and turn off your TV. As it was said before, the media is all about ratings and controversy.

Make up your own mind how you will vote by seeing how the candidates voted.

McCain rarely spoke about his POW years until very recently.

zubaz, you are SO correct on that! for years, he didn't want to talk about his POW experience. by God, he sure wants to now though, doesn't he? "I screwed up, you say? well, i was a POW! i'm excused." "my policies of the past were bad? remember, i was a POW. doesn't that count?" "i'm more patriotic because i was a POW!"

and this crap about him being a graduate of the naval academy..... my beagle could graduate 894 out of 899! his dad and grandfather were admirals! do you think he would've been admitted to annapolis if he didn't have that heritage? probably not, i think.

this "country first" crap is getting really old, too. mccain is no more patriotic than any of you, me, or obama.

like i've said before, i respected the man until recently. he's flipped quite a bit in recent years. 'maverick' applied when he bucked the norm for a republican. he's as much a republican now as bush, guilliany (another waste! "they didn't say 9-11 during their convention!" big deal! you never mentioned the words 'republican' or 'bush' during yours), huckabee, or limbaugh the mouth.

ParaTed, you still owe bebi and the doctor apologies. be a man and apologize!

David Kernell, 20, son of Tennessee Democratic state Rep. Mike Kernell, may soon be speaking with the FBI and the Secret Service about whether he played a role in the hacking of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin's Yahoo (NSDQ: YHOO) Mail account.

According to The Tennessean, the elder Kernell has confirmed that his son, a University of Tennessee-Knoxville student, is "the person who was the subject of speculation on blogs on the subject."

What the bloggers have been speculating about is that the younger Kernell owns the e-mail address rubico10@yahoo.com. The "Rubico" address has been linked to an apparent confession in the Palin hacking incident that was posted initially on the 4chan.org forum and later on various news sites and blogs.

Yes, your name calling and comment to Bebi and DrJo were uncalled for, so be a man and apologise.

Now back to the election!  Personally, I would be voting for the candidate who is less likely to take the US to unnecessary wars, and thus could use the saved monies on fixing up your own back yard.... and I don't think McCain, being an ex-military man, is the one to do it.  His war and POW experiences, for mine, do not gel well for a Presidency that will have to deal with communist nations... and what's his stance on Muslim countries, does he invade Iran, Syria and/or Lebanon over some perceived threat to US soil/interests???  Nope, he's too high a risk factor and should never be President.

And what about 'where there's smoke there's fire' Palin, there are too many unanswered questions about her honesty and integrity to be VP... and if McCain kicked the bucket while in office, I reckon the US would be in deep doodoo with her at the helm.

Again, an opinion doesn't count as a vote, but if McCain and Palin win I'm gonna be shit scared, not just for the US but Oz and the rest of the World.

To everyone calling me out for my way out of line comments against DrJO622.  You are right for doing so, the "question" was completely uncalled for and I do apologize for subjecting you to it.

To DrJO622, I apologize for crossing the line between discussion and abuse.  You're right about "check my meds"... well, ok, not my meds, but my diet, exercise program and other techniques I need to work on for my condition.

Not making excuses because there aren't any, but the JU regulars have seen this before (although it has been awhile).  I probably won't be back to JU for a while, blogging isn't very good for me anymore... probably hasn't been for a long time now.

Don't think we didn't notice that you made no apology for calling me a bigot. Do you even know what the word means?

"a person who is utterly intolerant of any differing creed, belief, or opinion."

"One who is strongly partial to one's own group, religion, race, or politics and is intolerant of those who differ."

"A person who regards his own faith and views in matters of religion as unquestionably right, and any belief or opinion opposed to or differing from them as unreasonable or wicked. In an extended sense, a person who is intolerant of opinions which conflict with his own, as in politics or morals; one obstinately and blindly devoted to his own church, party, belief, or opinion."

YOU are the one up in arms about defending YOUR religious beliefs, and calling the rest of us "murderers" simply because we have a different opinion. I have made no such attack on you, and yet you feel justified in doing so on me. You sir, are the hypocritical bigot. I bid you adieu and good day.

One last thing, ParaTed, since you obviously lack basic knowledge of biology and human reproduction, I suggest you take a refresher course. He's a start from Wikipedia, feel free to take a class from a local college: Human Reproduction: Pregnancy

and I apologize to Bebi  Bulma for the out of line name calling.

and for the record, I didn't call you a murderer.  I wouldn't have because as long as abortion is legal, it cannot be murder.

on Sep 21, 2008

BTW, I don't blindly support abortion either. If 4,5,6 months into it you decide "oops, nah...changed my mind" then tough cookies, you're in it for the long run now.

on Sep 21, 2008

Hmmm, I don't take much interest in politics, but that Sarah Palin looks like a good shag - she gets my vote
