Gore is in hiding.

Gore is in hiding.

He's in search on that warm weather he said would kill the planet. He's cold so he needs the heat.

There are many good arguments against GW, this isn’t one of them. Weather and climate are very different things, even a rudimentary knowledge of either subject should make this clear.

Al Gore, the opportunist that he is, is actually right about the assertions that he made in his book. A rise in temperatures could cause an increase in intensities of both rain and snow storms. Heat is what causes water to evaporate, heat is what allows air to hold water, heat is what causes that water vapor to rise in the atmosphere and then fall as either rain or snow. The average temperature has only risen 1 degree according to climatologist so 27 is now 28, still cold enough to snow. So pointing to a snowstorm as evidence against GW only shows your ignorance of the subject.

Allow someone a little satire occasionally, stub.

But as long as we're on the subject...

Interesting article, It doesn’t counter anything I wrote but interesting nonetheless. I think the author just has a problem with the word “holding”, how about heat allows air to “suspend” water vapor.

I’m sorry but it’s not just a little bit of fun, every cold snap is erroneously held up as proof GW isn’t happening and too many people think weather and climate are the same. Like I said there are good reasons to think that science has maybe overreached a little in this field but this just isn’t one of them.

This is what I mean.

I think you summarized it perfectly with that statement.  many of us called deniers are not denying anything but the hysteria that has been generated.  That temperatures have gone up is pretty much a given, but when, why and how much is not.  In addition, the discredited hockey stick graph is what is losing credibility for some of the AGW proponents.  I hope the latest effort by the Met is sincere, because if it is, then we can all lay aside this mockery of science and determine what is really happening instead of building arks out of papyrus and laying down sacrafices to Gaia to appease her ill temper.

Well, you have to admit we've been hearing a lot of 'hottest this' & 'dryest that' from the alarmist media, using 'weather' as you correctly call it, as evidence for GW for a long time now, stub.  Not really surprising that skeptics would return the favor.
