Things really change politically over the years. One of the biggest 180 turns in the overall political world comes with the issue of abortion. In the 80's and 90's, anti abortion activists carried signs that depicted grotesque aborted fetuses, and when these people were interviewed they seemed backwards, and in some cases, violent. We had abortion clinic bombers, which didn't make much sense. Yeah, I believe in a right to life, so I'll commit a murderous bombing to assert those beliefs! Fast forward to 2022 and we find the exact opposite. Pro abortion people now seem completely unhinged as well as bloodthirsty, and they now commit acts of terrorism. They threaten to murder SC Justices and they violently demonstrate outside of their homes in violation of Federal law. Even the most fervent abortion supporter 15 years ago had limits to when they thought abortion should be legal and they didn't seem so proud of it, but today they openly celebrate the idea of killing a fetus that is viable outside of the womb. Its their right! The signs they carry are crude and often barbaric in a total reversal of the days when they once made compelling arguments for safe and rare procedures. I think more Americans have seen an ultrasound and they have come to realize that its not just a clump of cells as the exalted professors decreed from their faculty lounges, but a human life that deserves respect and rights.
