keep your friends close but your enemies closer
Published on October 9, 2008 By Anthony R In Internet

Just recently, San Cho posted this Photoshop picture of Sarah Palin in a KKK uniform in the comment section of my blog.

-

I personally condemn the picture and I can't find any humor in it.  My question is simple. Does anyone else condemn this?

And who supports it? I have joked around with photoshop pictures before, but I have never put anyone in a Hitler or KKK uniform because that goes beyond being a joke and crosses over into the realms of full blown hate speech.

Thanks TonyR for posting the photo....

Your tag, "If your enemy is destroying himself, don’t interfere.", just about says it all.

I haven't read your blog on which San Cho posted this....I wonder besides this....did he post any substantive argument against Palin of whom he obviously has great disdain?

Aiko8 posts:

The pictures should be condemned. Not on the basis of "Hate Speech" (which is really a term to justify thought police) but on the basis to demean and smear another person's character. And to associate them with persons and/or groups who have been condemed in the past/present for their actions aganist the rest of humanity.

I agree.

Is Barack Obama any better? Yes, I believe he is! While Obama has been judged, condemned and criticised for various acquaintances and associations (none of which make him spend-happy, corrupt or a terrorist), Palin has cock-ups and dubious practices that can be attributable directly to her. Put bluntly, Palin lacks integrity, is predominantly self-serving and has far too many character flaws to holes any kind of public office and should never have been let out of the kitchen in the first place.

I disagree. Palin is a breath of fresh air and not change but optimism that Washington and America needs. Is her time now, I don't know, but she brings forth a force that will not go away if Conservatives have any say in the matter...and we do.

On Palin, paraphrasing Townhall Magazine comments:

Sarah Palin has come under fire and shown unwavering grace.....her commitment to life, fiscal conservatism and no-nonsense reform (against wrongdoers in the GOP) has enable her to do the unthinkable: unite a fractured party of fiscal, social and libertarian conservatives.

Leauki posts:

Considering Obama's association with a racist pastor, whom he knew for over a decade and who was his "spiritual guide" before he suddenly barely knew him, I would say he lacks integrity.

The man is not even fifty and has achieved NOTHING (except for himself), yet he wrote TWO autobiographies. (I wonder whether he mentioned writing the first in the second?) I would say that is "prodemoninantly self-serving".

As for character flaws, I think it is a character flaw to work as a lawyer suing banks that won't give mortgages to poor people and then present yourself as the President who is best qualified to solve the economic crisis caused by his earlier work.

Well said, Leauki, and I note that none of your points have been rebutted. Add to that Joe Biden's show of inexperience.....

He was against Reagan's strategic Defense initiative.....

He fought reagan's efforts to fund the freedom fighters in Nicaragua..

He opposed the Surge.....

He wanted to partitition Iraq....

To all of you who tout Obama and hold him up high, clapping wildly as he props himself as a Greek god in front of Greek pillars with the fireworks going off....the gloves are off....he's undone himself...it goes back to TonyR's tag line,

The comparison between McCain/Palin and Obama/Biden is precious life itself....Obama if elected will take our country deep into the Culture of Death....

This is where Obama falls woefully short of true manhood. To Palin, children are a blessing from Almighty God, not a "curse", or a "burden" or a "mistake" or "punishment" as Obama calls them. Palin shows by her life that children should never be sacrificed for the sake of one's career or to cadge votes from the pro-abortion crowd.

It's very simple why the Left is seething with hatred and lashing out against Palin......Sarah Palin is 100% pro-life....and she lives her pro-life principles. The only "choice" Obama approves is DEATH to the inocent unborn baby in the womb. And besides that, death to the poor baby who survives a botched abortion...Obama supports infanticide...

Oh, ya, people,....it's time for some change all right....50 million dead babies is enough innocent blood shed in America's abortuaries.....it's time to give the unborn babies some of that "hope" that Obama keeps talking about....only he is stone hard clueless...wanting to give babies only Death, by a abortionist's knife, scalpel, a suction machine, or a pair of scizzors to the back of the head or left alone to die in a linen closet.

Obama promised the professional baby-killers at Planned Parenthood that he would make legalized abortion untouchable...never to be outlawed or restricted in any way....

On the other hand, McCain/Palin say they would give every baby the fundamental inalienable right to life which comes from our Creator and is the bedrock philosophy enshrined in the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution.

You can disagree all you like... but Sarah Palin IS NOT suitable Washington Material, period.  The woman is so fundamentally flawed she represents a clear and present danger to the citizens of the US, and subsequently the World.  However, if you wish to remain blind and totally oblivious to everything that is patently wrong with her, then give her your vote because you will inevitably suffer more immediate, profound and devastating consequences than I ever will... I don't live there, but if you see fit to inflict such a loose cannon on your fellow citizens, you're the one who has to sleep at night when the political vacuum between her ears provides no answers, just more grief.

Yes, I have seriously bad feelings about the woman (stuff I have seen...hmmm, we won't go there), but fortunately the alternative will prevail and the whole World will be grateful for having been spared the political catastrophe that she is.

Now I get it....the Religious/Evangelical, and oh so compassionate (not), Right. No point in trying to discussing anything.

Yeah. Instead of having to deal with an inexperienced vice-president the world will have to deal with an equally (actually more) inexperienced president. That's obviously better.

I don't know why McCain chose Sarah Palin as his running mate, but in doing so he certainly uncovered left-wing misogyny (not that we were surprised after seeing how they treated Hillary) and suddenly lack of experience became an attribute the left claims makes one unable to hold high office.

I do...McCain chose Palin to accomplish what was unthinkable as being able to be done....unite the social, fiscal and libertarian conservatives in the GOP base and it did just that.  Palin fits the GOP platform to a "T"! (which btw is a clear break from GWB's policies).  Bravo for McCain who is a true American patriot and bravo for the GOP.

Ya, funny how the Left is so hep about using the word "inexperience" with Palin.....when in fact, she has more executive experience than Bill Clinton did when he was running for President!

OMG! That is funny as hell! She's a twit! Oh!....and I'm not saying Obama is the man to fit the bill either...actually...no one could ever "fit" the bill since not one single person on the planet could ever possibly have any experience to be a president...you only ever find out what they really can or can't do until after the damage has been done...but then it's to late as always...since its "on the job traing." It all boils down to who's bullshit you believe and how good they are at brainwashing you into believing any of they're dribble. I love the way these people come out of nowhere and all of a sudden everyone's an expert on who they are and what they're going to do for our country...get a clue already...they're aren't going to do a damn thing except make things worse and fill they're pockets. The saddest thing about all of this is that the people of this country have relinquished all responsibility regarding the future of this country and our childrens furtures...and handed it over to these idiots who campaign like children fighting on a playground using the almost exact same speeches year after year.

As I've said before and will say it again...this government needs to be completely and utterly gutted and replaced with younger people that actually have a stake in the future rather than big oil or big business and will actually listen to what the people want and not be so focused on filling they're pockets before they're term is up. And all religions need to start paying taxes!!!! If you want to inject your delusional religious thinking into what happens in this country...or the rest of the world for that matter...start paying the admission price!!!!

Palin is a breath of fresh air

Not from down wind.

And the folks upwind won't fare any better... the effects of curried cabbage palin' in comparison.  Put simply, the folks who vote for her will undoubtedly suffer and live to rue the day.

I don't know why McCain chose Sarah Palin as his running mate, but in doing so he certainly uncovered left-wing misogyny

Left wing misogyny my arse!  Anyone with half an ounce of sense - from both the left and right  sides of the political fence - can see that Sarah Palin is a political misnomer, a non-event and error in judgement on the part of the GOP.... a catastprophe that's just waiting to happen on a Federal level.

If it weren't so damned serious, I'd find it amusing.... no, downright laughable that Palin supporters can simply overlook the fact that a Repub led Senate inquiry found she abused her powers as Alaskan Governor; that even as Wasilla Mayor there are dubious questions regarding her integrity/honesty; that she built a bridge to nowhere and absorbed the Federal funding for 'pet' projects when they should have been returned.... and let's not forget the more recent $150k (and rising) bill for clothes, shoes and makeup, etc. Shit, I wouldn't have seen that much money in the last 6 - 8 years to live on (food, clothing, housing, utilities, etc), yet she can go out and blow $150K of other peoples money in less than 6 months on sheer vanity. And then of course there's the ten of thousands of Alaskan taxpayers money Palin used to fund little holidays... clothing, flights and 5 star hotel accomodation  for her daughters.

I mean, you wouldn't knowingly marry somebody with these dubious/questionable characteristics or traits, so why in the hell would anyone, knowing all this stuff, vote for Palin and inflict her brand of politics and economics on themselves and their fellow man/woman!!!

The American public wanted Bill Clinton impeached and ousted from office... to be handed his balls on a platter for having his zipper down more than it was up, yet some of that very same public is happy to vote for Palin, someone who has demonstrably proven she is of more dubious character, politically and otherwise.  Makes no damned sense!!!!

Here, here!!!  Some religious organisations are sitting on far greater wealth and have more resources at their disposal that some national economies do... and it's not like they redistribute the funds donated to them as their benefactors would like/prefer.  Churches collect billions upon billions in the name of charity every year, but when those organisations invest huge sums in real estate and other investment opportunities, they cease to be a church/religious group and become a business, and thus should be taxed as businesses.

It's not that poverty really exists in the World - well it needn't - but rather that greed is prevelant, and the churches are no more exempt from this than corporate high rollers and the financial entreprenuers on Wall St responsible for the current crisis.  And no, as much as I dislike Bush, he and his cohorts are not responsible for/did not create this crisis... other than acting too late to stem the flow of greed so prevelant in banks and big business.

It is deplorable and offensive for someone to a photoshop such as Palin in a KKK outfit, but it's protected speech under the First Amendment. Too bad Nanci Pelosi, Harry Reid, and Obama don't understand you can't silence people's views simply because you disagree with them or find them personally offensive.

Now the King George one is funny. And whether or not you like W., it gets the point across without being psycho about it. In fact, I'd say it's more effective, because many of W's own supporters are going to chuckle at it in spite of themselves.

....a sort of a lose-win situation...

First, the American Public was indifferent to Clinton.  That he broke the law is a given.  But the majority did not care.

Second, Palin has proven she is of exemplar character, but the press is not.  Her percieved problems are nothing more than a vendetta, and far less than the problems of Obama/Biden when taken on an analytical basis.  The rhetoric is hot, but there is no fuel for the fire.  Just a bunch of people that profess to want to see women get ahead, and when they do, are scared shitless about it and have to demonize her.  No one here can point to anything about her that is any more worrisome than the past actions of Obama or Biden, yet the rest of the world thinks she is some kind of devil.  WHy?  I can think of only 2 possible reasons.

1.  It is a man's world and they hate uppity women (less likely)

2.  They swallow the pap from the MSM in the US hook line an sinker with no critical thought or questions about the propaganda they are being spoon fed.

I don't think so Jafo...they were pretty popular a few years back:

Second, Palin has proven she is of exemplar character

Try again, Dr Guy:

and here

There are so many links to her unsavory behavior.....really, does it have to be rehashed?

2. They swallow the pap from the MSM in the US hook line an sinker with no critical thought or questions about the propaganda they are being spoon fed.

If it were only MSNBC I'd tend to agree, but it's EVERYWHERE! Well, maybe not at FOX but we know they're not prejudiced, right?
