All the gun control advocates are on all the Sunday shows and some of them might be well meaning, but they are totally misguided. Ask a liberal gun control advocate something like, "what new law would have stopped Eric Harris from sawing off his shotgun on both ends, transforming it into the deadliest close range weapon imaginable?" Since sawing off a shotgun is already a felony in most states and no one is even including the deadly close range shotgun on the list of weapons to be banned, they w...

I know my political predictions have been off lately, picking John McCan't and Mitt Romney, but I think I'm a bit more knowledgeable about football... that is why I am predicting a Baltimore Ravens victory by at least a touchdown. Kapernick the rookie might be great on the option play, but he has never faced a defense as ferocious as Baltimore. Where ever he throws, he has to look out for Ed Reed while having Suggs and Lewis breathing down his neck. Its not like the 49ers don't have ...

Microsoft need to get serious about making Operating systems in the future and needs to give me at least 1 good reason to switch from Win 7 which is the best Operating system I've used to something new. With Win 8 I have nothing but reasons NOT to switch. Get serious people.

Its a shame the Democrats have chosen to exploit the Newton, Connecticut shooting in a naked attempt to advance a totalitarian vision they've had on their plates for quite some time... to strip the people of their guns and constitutional rights. In all honesty, there are no new laws that would have prevented young Mr. Lanza, who was a determined and psychotic criminal from slaying his mother, or anyone else who would have gotten in his way to commit his acts, but this reality doesn't ...

I just got another 16gb of ram to make it a full 32 and my rig knew it was there but couldn't use it and I found out why. Win 7 Premium can only use a paltry 16 gb. If I want to use the full 32 I'll have to upgrade to pro, which I will likely do very soon.

Spent the weekend assembling my new i7 rig which I have affectionately named "Ripley". All the hardware is Hackintoshable should I decide to go that route and dual boot with OS X. Specs: Fractal Design Define R4 Case, Black Pearl Intel Core i7-3770K Quad-Core Processor 3.5 GHz Gigabyte Intel Z77 Dual Thunderbolt ATX Motherboard (GA-Z77X-UP5-TH) Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800) Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 GHZ 1GB Corsair Professional Series  A...

How can Obama meet and shake the hand of PSY, a guy who called for the deaths of US troops and their families? I am normally sickened and revolted by Obama, but this raises the disgust to new levels. Nauseating. Psy's 2004 performance "Dear American". Kill those f*$king Yankees who have been torturing Iraqi captives. Kill those f&*king Yankees who ordered them to torture. Kill their daughters, mothers, daughters-in-law and fathers. Kill them all slowly and painfully. ...

Now that we are doomed to another 4 years of Obama, we waste no time in a bitter and partisan battle over the so called "fiscal cliff". There's no shortage of stories depicting the Republicans as a dying and fractured party even though the Republicans have more Governors now than at any time since the 1960's and full control of the US House of Representatives, which controls the purse. Hardly a party in its death throes or on the fringes. The control of the purse is a powerful thing as i...

cnet (Download.com) has always been a trusted site, but this morning their download hit me with a nasty hijack called browsemngr.exe. It hijacked all my browsers and it took me like 20 minutes to clean it all up. Watchout.   C:\ProgramData\Browser Manager\2.3.796.11\{16cdff19-861d-48e3-a751-d99a27784753}\browsemngr.exe O23 - Service: Browser Manager - Unknown owner - C:\ProgramData\Browser Manager\2.3.796.11\{16cdff19-861d-48e3-a751-d99a27784753}\browsemngr.exe

Its really tough to choose a mobo for the rig I'm building. Its probably the toughest choice to make. I generally want Intel Z77, LGA1155, 32GB ram, and at least 2 x SATA 6Gb. Which motherboard would be best? Gigabyte seems solid. What would you use if you were building a rig now? I don't really need an extreme gaming rig with 4 cards.

Provided nothing dramatic happens at the final foriegn policy debate and no knockout blow is landed... this is the way I see it shaking out. Obama has been campaigning in Ohio for the last 5 years in between rounds of golf, vacationing, demonizing Bush, and patting himself on the back for exacerbating Americas problems, so I think he has a pretty good foothold on the State, so I give it to him, but he is losing Wisconsin and New Hampshire quickly, and that provides Ryan/ Romney another pa...

Just when you think the Obie Admin can't get worse... it does. This Libya debacle is the latest example of Obie admin incompetence and depravity. So as it turns out, the guys at that Libya embassy were calling for more security and never got it, and after they were murdered, the admin tried to sweep the whole mess and all the bodies under a rug by citing a YouTube video as the cause which was absurd on its face and patently false. Obama supporters remind me of the band on the Titanic who kep...

Which card would give the best bang for the buck? Are any of these cards bad in terms of performance when it comes to excessive heat or noise? Which would be best for the price. Anything better in this range? I was leaning towards the GTX480 which should be able to handle anything I throw at it for a good price. 1). EVGA GeForce GTX480 1536MB  $199.99 2.) EVGA GeForce GTX570 1280MB  $259.99 3.) EVGA GeForce GTX660 2048MB  $229.99

As the DNC attack dog Debbie Dobermann Shultz brings down the gavel to begin the raucous Democratic celebration of Abortions, contraception, gay marriage, and fiscal insanity, I couldn't help but wonder how they could characterize Mitt Romney as being "out of touch" when Obama's campaign and campaign slogan is itself way out of touch with reality. It boggles the mind to see a slogan like "Forward," when 65% of the country consider that to be the wrong track and direction...

This won't take long. It will kick off with 2 hours of Islamic Jumma prayers, it will feature hours of Bush bashing and Obama boasting of his accomplishments. There will be intermittent outbursts from people cheering their own destruction, and the curtain will fall to thunderous applause and Oprah crying her eyelashes off.
